Duncan set up and runs PTGear and Cambridge Fitness both very successful fitness companies which compliment each other well.

“Personal training can be a hard industry to break into, but I found my love for setting up businesses made it simple for me. I set PTGear up to help personal trainers decide what they want to do in the industry and help them to get there, also to provide fitness proffessionals the best equipment in the industry”

“Personal training equipment is specialist gear, at ptgear we provide the latest personal training equipment with detailed reviews and descriptions written by personal trainers who use the equipment and understand your needs and ability”

“I aim to perfect the personal training business model, and find the most cost efficient and effective methods that directly lead to customers”

“You are in the unique position that you can benefit from me perfecting these techniques out on my fitness team and then sharing the effective results with you”

Duncan Boltt has a degree in Mechanical engineering from Northumbria university, this gives him a strong understanding of the mechanics of the body and equipment.

He has been a personal trainer for 4 years and currently has a team of 5 personal trainers in Cambridge UK.

He also enjoys extreme exercise challenges and has successfully swam lake windermere (12 miles in 7hrs & 50 mins) as well as attempting to swim the channel in 2009. His current challenge is to break the world record for the plank which has just been extended to 32 minutes.

“I find extreme challenges inspire me and make me train hard, if I pick something that sounds achievable i’d get bored quickly”
