Battling rope pole pulls

Battling rope pole pulls are a very unique exercise they combine arms shoulder and upper back and core, but most uniquely this is a cardiovascular endurance drill. Which will really get the heart pumping without any impact to joints.

This is true for the majority of battling ropes exercises.

Not to sure about the music though, the harder the battling rope pulls get the worst the music.

What are battling ropes?

Battling ropes are basically a heavy duty rope. They hard thick hard wearing ropes which gives battle ropes the following.

benefits for training with battling ropes:

Battle ropes are heavy, so require a lot of shoulder and body strength to get them moving.

They are relatively rigid, so again require a lot of strength to move, but also this gives them an element of control.

They are hard wharing and so will last.

Different sizes of battle ropes:

They come in two main sizes 25mm (in diameter) which is approximately 1 inch thick. Ideal for beginers and mastering the techniques.

44mm which is really heavy rope, nearly 2 inches thick. A great challenging weight for all, this size will really work your shoulders and torso.

Our battle ropes are 10m long, which is a perfect length for most drills. Any longer than this and it becomes near impossible for your average person to master the wave drills.
